PRE RIDE GROOMING AND TACKING EXPERIENCE
Meet Your Horse Before the Ride Begins
Most riding experiences begin in the saddle.
This one begins with connection.
Before heading onto the trail, guests are invited into the quieter side of horsemanship — spending intentional time with the horse they will ride through grooming, preparation, and guided interaction.
Set in a private ranch environment near Park City, this experience is designed for guests who want more than a quick ride. It offers the opportunity to slow down, learn, if newer to horses, and build familiarity with the horse before ever stepping into the stirrup and on to the trail.
Includes:
-
Personal horse introduction
-
Grooming and bonding time
-
Guided assistance with saddling
-
Basic understaning of the unique Paso Fino and Peruvian Paso
-
Horse personality and behavior overview
Why Guests Love It
For many riders, this becomes the most memorable part of the day.
Rather than simply being assigned a horse, guests participate in the preparation process and begin to understand the personality, sensitivity, and communication with the horse they will ride.
It transforms the experience from “a horseback ride” into a genuine interaction with the animal itself.
The relationship between horse and rider begins long before the trail.
This experience invites you into that first conversation.

Our Experience Philosophy
Our Boutique Equestrian Experiences at the ranch are built around our foundational principles:
Connection, Fun, Uniqueness and Presence...always.
Whether you are riding, preparing your horse, or learning, each moment is designed to slow the pace and increase awareness — of the horse, the environment, and yourself.
Our horses are selected for temperament, training, and smooth movement, allowing guests to engage safely and meaningfully in every part of the experience.
This ranch is not built for volume or a hurried experience. It is built for presence, connection, and meaningful interaction with horses in a natural mountain setting.
Each experience is designed to offer guests a deeper understanding of horsemanship, movement, and the quiet communication between horse and rider.

PASO FINO PASTURE LOUNGE
Stay a Little Longer
The ride may end at the barn.
The experience does not.
After your ride, guests are invited into a private pasture lounge experience where the horses are released to graze freely at or near sunset while you unwind with curated refreshments in the midst the herd.
Watch as the herd returns to natural movement — running, stretching, playing and settling into the field — while you enjoy a scenic experience in a spectacular private outdoor setting.
This is a quiet, scenic wind-down experience that allows guests to absorb the landscape, the animals, and the moment.
Includes:
-
Pasture lounge seating area
-
Horse turnout viewing experience and participation (You can personally release your horse into the field)
-
Light charcuterie and sparkling beverage (In addition, you are welcome to bring a beverage of your choice)
-

-
Optional private or small-group setup
Why Guests Remember It
There is something uniquely calming about watching horses return to open pasture.

This is an introductry program and is guided by a dedicated student who has spent the last five years independently studying and developing mounted archery through hands-on practice and horsemanship.
The focus of the experience is not performance or speed, but progressive learning, safety, and connection between horse, rider, and movement.
